Volunteer for Cleanups / Work Parties 2025
Work parties are held on the last Saturday of every month from April through October to ensure that the existing structures are maintained and kept free of weeds, brush and other debris.
We also conduct work parties at areas along East Park Drive, Silent Brook, Edgebrook Shelters, and work along the future Paul Riis trail.
We often work under the direction and guidance of the Allegheny County Park Rangers.
NOTE: No work should be conducted in these locations outside the scheduled work party dates in order to protect the delicate ecological balance of these areas and to adhere to Park guidelines per the Allegheny County Park Rangers.
If you are interested in donating even an hour of your time for a great cause, please consider joining us.
There is no heavy labor involved. We use hand tools, hedge clippers, and pruning shears.
